LN40B550 picture-in-picture

Just brought home a new LN40B550, and in reading the manual, discovered it does not have PIP. Any idea why? I never even thought to ask/investitage this, as I thought PIP was pretty much a standard feature anymore.

The short and quick explanation is that the television doesn't have dual tuners, and with the change to digital inputs, doesn't work with the functionality as analog tuners once did.

Several models this year have no PIP functionality.

but you failed to remember that most people that have dual tuner satelite recievers could use the PIP function. They should have left the PIP function in the TV for these people.
