LN40B530P7F, TV constantly shutting itself on and off

Feb 21, 2011 7:28AM PST

This TV is barely 12 months old yet as of last night it constantly keeps intermittently shutting itself off/on without me touching the remote or power buttons.

I know Samsungs are supposted to be top of the line when it comes to TVs, but after this and a cell phone problem which also happens to be a Samsung; I may not be returning to this brand.

Anyone know of any solutions? I've kept the TV unplugged overnight and plugged it back in, but this did nothing to fix the problem.

I called a tech today and the parts will not be on order for them to fix for at least a few days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help but possibly a tip.

If you register products at samsung.com you might get 3 more months on the warranty. Sorry that I can't help with repair or parts.
