But I'm not a TV tech and don't want to be one. I design electronics and leave the TV repairs to Samsung unless it's a simple thing. This forum does not appear to have any TV techs visiting so I'd try AVSFORUM as as the TV tech what they think.
I am looking at a Samsung LN40B500P3F for my father in law. It is having picture problems after being on for just a few seconds. The sound stays on, but the picture will only be on for a few seconds, then go out and come back on in flashes about 2 or 3 times before finally going out completey. I've already looked at all of the components on what I believe to be the power supply board, and I don't see anything obviously bad. From what I read the T-con board may be the problem. Anyone ever have this issue before?
