LN40A650 Discontinued.

Mar 7, 2009 10:39AM PST

I noticed today that the TV I was getting ready to purchase, the LN40A650 was discontinued. Does anyone know the next model that is replacing the TV?

Any idea if the pip issues will be resolved in the 09 televisions?

If so, I'm sold. Thanks.

Dual Tuners needed....

Mr_Cadillac,

No, the PiP functionality will not be improved to the best of my knowledge on the new models.

To get the PiP functionality (at least, how it was 10 years ago), you're going to need dual tuners, and this television will not have two tuners.

I wish I had a yes, but the realistic answer is no.

That's okay

I appreciate your sincere answer. Upon a little further research I learned that the TV I love so much would increase significantly in price w/ dual tuners. I?m still considering this television anyway. Thanks.
