LN37A450 Sound drops off analog stations

Jan 31, 2009 9:18AM PST

I just installed a LN37A450 with A HT-AS720ST and Samsung Blue Ray. All are HDMI connected. When playing The TV, the sound on the analog stations drops off after 2 seconds. This is after syching the Anynet. I turned the Anynet off and the sound still does not work on the analog stations. Sound works on digital stations. I turned the TV sound back on and sound still does not work on analog stations.

Any help would be be appreciated.

LN37A450 - NO SOUND
Feb 3, 2009 2:00AM PST

I PURCHASED AN LN371450 LAST WEEK. I HAVE IT HOOKED UP TO AN HT-AS720ST AND SAMSUNG BLUE RAY VIA HDMI. I HAVE THE SOUND FROM THE TV GOING TO THE RECEIVER VIA THE OPTICAL CABLE. EVERTHING IS HOOKED UP PER THE MANUALS.

I HAVE BASIC CABLE - NO HD. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I GET NO SOUND ON CERTAIN STATIONS. DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY RHYME OR REASON TO IT. SAME CONDITION USING ANYNET OR THE TV SPEAKERS.

SAP mode?

Your television is probably in SAP mode. Try pressing the MTS button on the remote until it says "Stereo". It's the middle button under the color buttons.

Keep me posted.
