You need to get a HD source. It's really the only solution to your problem. Did you really think that an old coax connection would look better on a high-resolution display? It's like buying the best damn computer on the market but using dial-up and expecting laser fast internet speeds. Life doesn't work that way.
Hi,
I just purchased this last night and I don't have an HD cable box yet. But, I didn't think the tv would look so bad with just regular digital cable with a coax cable. I see the pixels in everything, not just movement. Basically it looks to me like a badly designed webpage with graphics that are not properly optimized for the web so there's all these blurry outline areas around all the graphic objects and text. That's exactly what I'm seeing watching cable.
So my question is, did I set something really wrong? i can't even see the detail in people's faces if it's not a total closeup. It's just all blurry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am new to LCD TVs.
Thanks.
