LN32A300 Input Lag

Nov 26, 2008 2:23PM PST

Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing a Samsung LN32A300. One thing that worries me is that I will be playing Nintendo Wii on it and I can't find any information on the web regarding input lag with this model. I know there is a post processing delay upscaling the Wii's 480p output into 768p(I don't know why TV makers use that stupid resolution but thats a topic for another day..). Anyway, Is there anywhere I can find quantitative data on how long it will take a 480p image fed through component to go through the TVs image processor and display on the screen.

I don't have that kind of data.

Most people never have a problem with game play. We've had a few questions and even less complaints regarding a lag time out of thousands of people who own a Samsung and a Wii system. So there's no known lag issue that I'm aware of.

Do you know if this particular model has a game mode. I know many Samsungs have a game mode to reduce input lag.

I don't believe so. I downloaded the manual, and there was no information on it. If you can change the name of your inputs to "Game", then it might be there. But I don't think it is. Can anyone else confirm?
