SAF_dc,
Is the signal coming from over-the-air?
Antennas may be succeptible to interference in the house, and the broadcast signal being sent from the towers may be to blame. It it's happening on one channel, it may be because the signal isn't consistently strong.
Does moving the antenna help any?

I have an LN S3251D that is about 2 years old. It has the habit of dropping the signal briefly. It's a problem mostly on one channel, but happens on all channels and it is getting worse.
I do not think it's the signal, as a one year old LN26A450C10 on the same antenna but in another room, does NOT regularly drop the signal.
So, how can I stop this? Thanks?
