Port 80 is a web server port.

Doubtful that would ever work. Since you pay Godaddy it's time to ask them for more help.

I had the same problem

I had the same problem. Everything was working fine (using port 80).Then the Live Mail desktop app stopped sending from my GoDaddy acount. It still received fine (on port 110). Nothing I tried would fix the problem. I finally had to delete the account in the Live Mail app and then recreated it. I used outgoing port 25 and is working well so far.

By the way, Microsoft is blocking from Live Mail (@hotmail.com, @msn.com & @live.com) at least one of the GoDaddy email serves. The reason according to Micrtosoft is too much reported spam from that server.
