I'd follow that advice. Windows Live appears to be problematic. I'd be sure not to rely on it since it may be some time till they sort it out.

I tried originally to install as a Windows Update the new Windows Live Essentials 2011. All the other programs in the package install except for Gallery and the WIndows Movie Maker. It seems to take forever and at the end I get Error:0x80040705 / Source: D3D10_42. This occurred ever after I tried to load Essentials directly from the Windows Live website. During the install the software uninstalled the previous versions of these 2 programs. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. While installing I have disabled my Anti-Virus, Firewall, Registry cleaner, and all running programs possible. I am using a self-built computer which contains a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM/US2H board, an AMD Phenom II X2 550 Processor, a NVidia GeForce 9400GT 1GB video card, and Realtek HD Onboard Audio and 4GB of memory. All Firmware and drivers are up to date. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
