Anyone has any experience with above DVD Recorder, good or bad? I'd appreciate any short reviews from people they own it.

A failure

I bought one of these units, the Lite On 1633S, on a Thursday. It was dead by Sunday morning. This is the second Lite On drive I've had die prematurely. To be avoided is my opinion

I have had one for 3 months with no problems. Burned around 40 disks so far. Included software is a little skimpy (Nero Express), but drive works well enough, and is affordable.
Just dont try the overburn option with Lite-on drives, you will get away with it a few times then the drive begins burning errors into each disk.
