Question

Lists into Icons

Apr 23, 2019 6:03PM PDT

In any folder. The items are in a list. How can I turn the list into icons. I prefer seeing icons, over seeing just plain text . . .
Help me with instructions as soon as you can, so I can change the lists into icons!

Thanks for everything . . . Jerry Dwyer

I did what you said . . .

But, changing the view is only changing the icon before the text. The text is still there. What I want is to see is only an icon, replacing the text. I'm not sure you know what I mean? Hopefully you'll reply and tell me . . .

Not a view in WFE.

Sorry no, Windows File Explorer in Windows 10 has no such view. You'll have to look for apps that do that.

I believe there was an option in XP to Vista. Maybe W7 but I'm unsure.

I just read what I replied to you . . . I suppose if you only had an icon, you would not know what it's for, or where it takes you, when you click on it? Maybe you could have text under the icon? I'm not sure what to do? Maybe you would understand and tell me ? I appreciate your help! I don't mean to drag this on, but I hate just seeing only a list.

Thanks again . . . Jerry

What you asked for did exist prior to Windows 10. I have yet to see this in any app so I can't help you but maybe someone else has seen such an app.
