Listening to music from laptop

Jan 1, 2020 9:43PM PST

I have 441 music files on my desktop. I transferred the files to various portable devices and a tablet by usb. The music sounds great on those. I transferred the files to the laptop wirelessly. The sound from the laptop had distortion and the volume would vary. Apparently transferring the files wirelessly was changing the files.

I copied the files to a flash drive and copied that to the laptop and now the laptop sounds great. So music files appear to be sensitive and could be damaged when transferred wirelessly.
