Lion & Aperture BEWARE

Jul 29, 2011 11:27AM PDT

After purchasing a New IMac from the Apple Store, I was very happy, I thought it was a great computer. I was wrong.
When I downloaded the new Lion system and the Aperture I have had nothing but problems. In Dashboard, I get widgets that pop up that I did not download. In Aperture, I created my one and only project only to have it crash every time I try to adjust the music levels. While I've tried to get help from Apple both online and via telephone ( 3 times for over 2.5 hrs.) it has been fruitless. Finally, I had a Apple tech contact me and say there is something wrong with the software, but I'm still out in the cold about what to do.<div>WARNING STAY AWAY FROM LION!
STAY AWAY FROM APERTURE!

I also have both installed and working perfectly. iMac, Lion and Aperture are fantastic products, but the occasional bug slips through quality control. It sounds like your specific combination of hardware and software have created an issue that needs to be resolved. Imagine if you were having similar problems on a PC (and similar problems abound on the PC platform)... who would you talk to first? The Mac is still a fantastic system despite the occasional problem.
