Linux Zorin OS 6 Ultimate

I finally found a distro I really feel comfortable with after trying very many. I narrowed my choices down to to 4 about six weeks ago and ran them in a virtual box. I chose this one>>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiTQzIhufRg , I purchased the ultimate version for $13.00 and Glad I Did! It saved me a lot of time figuring out what packages I wanted to install and has everything you could ever want from an OS.It's a 3.6 GB download. It's an easy transition from Windows since this is so much like it. I just thought I would let everyone know how pleased I am with this. I have it running next to Win7 and gave it a 75 GB partition and it's running flawlessly on my old Dell Inspirion 530s so check out the Youtube Review I attached you might like this one too. ..Digger

an amendment about running flawlessly. There is one problem I haven't been able to fix with this os. It recognizes my flat screen Toshiba as a 71in. screen instead of the 32in. it really is, so in some instances the display is so large that I don't see the controls like to close the page or max/min, or the supplied games are unplayable. It worked perfectly in the virtual box . Is there a way to correct this or do I have to junk it ?....Digger

I found a work around for this issue ! There are three graphics driver options available to download and one works . While the os still recognizes my monitor as 72in. , the driver shrank the display down to a 30.5 in. display so I lost 1-1/2 in. but everything fits now so I can live with this. This is still a Super distro....Digger
