Now take the number of years to bring that back to reason.
Since Linux has been out 10 years and Windows 8 only one, you can re-do the numbers and see the results.

PS. I have the wrong number of years for Linux. But using it's inception date would be too much of skew or skewer.
PPS. Some propose that Android should be considered Linux. As in the most successful Linux distro ever.
Android = 915
Mac OS classic = 61
Windows Mobile = 217
Windows 2000/NT = 1863
and last and also least is;
Windows 8 = 677
So, considering Linux beat Windows 8 on threads, also is earlier alphabetically, perhaps Linux should be at the top of that list?
