Linux and Windows on the same machine

i have installed windows XP and linux mandrake on the same machine and i when i removed the Linux installed hard drive from the machine and 1 and 0 is displaying in diferent sequences and displays an error message saying "unable to boot". what do u think should i do. i dont want to format and re install windows agin.

the linux boot manger can boot windows 95-98-me it should boot xp if you have fat file system

but I perfor ntfs so I use my bois a boot manger by changig the bootable drive it works fine if you have at least hard drive

last note I tried os selcter it wont boot searal ata with xp along side linux on ide but it boot eather one by it self but it cant both at the same time under most less complex setups os slecter should fine

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
