I have a WNR2000 and to get it to work with our new HP wifi printer I had to set the wifi to 54 meagerbit maximum. That is 802.11g.
No great loss but it's stable and the kid plays the 360 without yelling LAG!! constantly.
Good luck with your selections.
I am in the market for a new wireless router. My ancient DLINK 615B isn't working out any more for my son's gaming habit since we hooked up his new I MAC a few weeks ago.
I've narrowed it down to two Linksys dual band wireless-N gigabit routers, WRT320N and WRT610N.
I am aware that the 320N is not a simultaneous dual band router. I would leave it on 5GHz. I'd rather not spend the extra $70 on the 610 if I don't have to.
We have an older Dell desktop PC that will be wired directly into the router, an HP 6310 printer that will also be wired into the router, 2 Mac Book Pros, an I MAC, 2 X box 360's and a wireless HP C4780 printer.
Any reccomendations would be appreciated.
