Clarification Request
Is this the right way around?

I know Excel, a little, but know nothing about PP except it is a Presentation Application.

I Googled both the following;

"Excel how to link from powerpoint", and

"Powerpoint how to link to Excel".

In both cases all I seemed to get were links to sites for linking Excel cells, data, graphs and elements into PP, and not the other way round.

In fact that makes sense to me, considering that PP is used to present data from other formats, eg Excel. There would not seem to be a need, at least at first glance, to create links in reverse.

Perhaps you could explain more of what you need?

i am going to write an exam for university, if i pass this exam i get credited for this module and dont have to do it.

i was going trough notes and assignments from one of the past students who wrote the test, in one of the assignments it asked her to first add a chart in powerpoint, edit some of the data and then it said display chart title above chart, then it said to link the title to a specific cell in excel, so that when you change whats written in that cell it automatically updates the chart title in powerpoint

i thank you for your reply

In PP, in the Home Tab, click Insert, text, Hyperlink

Navigate to the excel spreadsheet you want to link to and follow the instructions

Found this in Power Point Help
