I had uninstalled LCC (Logitec Control Center) for maybe 3 weeks. I got tired of the missing functionality of the many extra buttons on my MX-1100 mouse, so I reinstalled LCC again. Now the 'jumpy lines' happen much less. Now it may be one line jumps down in after a minute. Before it was 1-3 lines every 10 seconds. I can live with the anomaly easier now.
In Entourage and Excel (since the last MS Office 2008 update I believe), the tope line jumps or scrolls up (out of view), then back down into view. WhenI try to scroll up to see top line, it jitters in and out of site (up/down). It is hard to type on or work with the first line in an email message or an Excell worksheet. Also, when i move the cursor vertically (mid window), it also jitters up/down.
I do not recall exactly when this started, but it may have been when I agreed to update MS Office from a prompt a while back. Funny thing is I never recall MS Office having 'updates' before (I surely could be wrong on that!)
The jittering is driving me batty. I have rebooted system to no avail.
I'm running iMac OS 10.6.5, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.16GHz, 3GB memory
MS Office 2008 (Entourage ver. 12.2.4, Excel ver. 12.2.5)
Entourage "Version 12.2.4 (100205) Latest Installed Update: 12.2.5"
Excel "Version 12.2.5 (100505 Latest Installed Update: 12.2.5"
Thank You
