lines in photos

please help, I have a Fuji Finepix S7000, about 4 years old. I love this camera and use it a great deal but I am getting random horizontal lines showing up on my photos. I can see them on the camera and also on the computer. I have not tried to print any but I'm quite certain they would show up there also. I have noticed some lines do have a pinkish color, or some are barely visible and throughout the whole photo. Can anyone tell me what this may be? I would send photos but I am not sure how to do this here....I have a wedding to photograph and I am wondering if I should get my camera repaired or if it's simply tired rechargeable batteries.

Do the lines appear on every photo and at the same location ? Horizontal or vertical or slanted across the photo ?

Try cleaning the lens (with a lens cleaning kit).
Otherwise, it may be CCD/sensor related - worn out, or dust on surface, etc.

they don't appear on every photo, and I've noticed it more on photos taken outdoors, and not always on the same place on the photo. It's not the lens, I did check that. Is there anything else that I can try other than taking it in?

...since the lines are not at the same place and not always present, it is hard to say what causes them. Try to post an image. Try HERE.

Just follow the instructions and remember to copy the URL link to the image to the forum's message box.

... Reformat the memory card -using the camera. Remember to save the photos therein first ! Or use a new memory card. Remember to fromat it in the camera.

I tried uploading latest photo which was really bad, pink and green horizontal lines throughout. No can do, says my file isn't supported, but it was a jpeg and I resized it. I could email you a photo? I think my bad batteries or tired rechargeables may be a key, I'm seeing a pattern, and this set, which is only a year old, seems to be losing it's charge real fast. I'm going to format my card, but I do have several other cards I could try too. Thank you SO MUCH!!!:)

Try again. Use another photo, or resave it to another acceptable format. It is better not to e-mail the photo, since others need to see it too. Yes- the batteries may be the culprits too if they provide a current which is unsteady, as old or worn rechargeables batteries do. See how those memory cards go.

by the end of the day of my last post, the photos were partially or completely white. I read some other forums and confirmed it was a bad ccd. It is now on it's way back to be fixed, luckily I purchased a 4 year extended warranty. Thanks so much for your help!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
