Question

line feeds

by taliman10 / April 15, 2012 3:23 AM PDT

I am constantly plagued with linefeed and page feed not working. I've looked through the control panel for a solution but those I've tried didn't work.

Help please.

That sounds like a printer. Specifically, linefeed sounds like a good old 66 lines per page line printer (printing on continous forms), as we used 20 years ago. But I didn't know those had a control panel.

Can you tell more, including the solutions you tried but didn't work?

What are you using as OS? What printer mfg? This might help, also it might help to know if this happens regardless of where you attempt to print from.

You are giving us no detail, and yet you want someone to discern your problem.

What are you doing to get this effect or result?
I, too, think this is a printer, but what are you doing to get this result?
I have seen things like this happen when people try to print a .PDF file when they do not have a postcript handler (like Adobe Reader) installed on their computer.

But your issue may be vastly different. How are we to know?
How about also filling in some detail as to what your OS is, and the brand of printer and also the model. It might help.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
