I never knew that Invasion Of privacy Laws did not extend to the white house. Did anybody else hear rhis?

I didn't watch it so I don't know the context in which that was said, but I wonder whether it could have anything to do with the idea that the White House is considered a public place ("owned by the taxpayers") and not a private residence?

That's a good point. They did not elaborate on it but did stress it a few times.

I didn't see it either, so I likewise can't put the words into any context, but the personnel regulations for hiring White House employees is completely different from anywhere else in government. The regular rules, including privacy protections, simply don't apply. But then later in her "career" she was working in the Pentagon, where the rules do apply.
