Limited VM pagefile.sys error

Hi.
I used Norton Ghost 9.0 for a drive-to-drive copy. But when I boot from the new drive, I get a Limted VM error saying that I have "no paging file or my paging file is too small." Then it gives me the steps on how to increase the paging file (which I now how to do). But when I click OK, I get back to the Windows 2000 screen. I tried all the choices for safe mode booting but always get the same result. It won't let me log in. Please help. My system: Dimension 4100, bios A08, Win2K Professional, 384 Ram.
