limewire

not sure if this is the wright froum but anybody know why my limewire is so slow when i had dial up it used to downlad at about 4kb now i got 1m broadband and it runs and 2 or 3kb my friend got limewire with broadband and it real fast his comp is xp and mines me but i thought that it should still download at the same speed

Many ISPs limit P2P speeds.

Call them and ask.

But limewire is usually riddled with spyware or pests that I'm surprised your machine is not slow overall.
