limewire

i have a dell dimension 2400 computer windows xp os. my question is limewire a safe program to use? could someone else get personal information from my computer by me using the program? not sure what all a person shares with others by using it. thanks, alan.

No, it's not a safe program to use. It is loaded with spyware and viruses.
