Lightweight Movie Editor

Dec 5, 2005 11:26PM PST

I have a bunch of the small CD's (DVD's ?) from a handleld recorder I need to hack up.
I have to take about 11 of these (football games) and create one master CD we can give to our team members as a recap of the year.
It does not have to be a super fancy thing, maybe background music would be nice and a text lead in... but not a must.
I am going to purchase a new internal DVD so I can accomplish all this..
I have been looking at shareware for the movie editing but have not decided on anything as of yet. I would be happy to spend no more that say $75 on move software if required..

Anyone have a good set of tools I can get started with

Are they from a DVD camera??? If so it may not be an easy task. You will have to rip the tracks from the DVD. And then edit them.
