DO NOT KEEP THIS ONE. While you still can, take it back and check it out before leaving the store. If it's a series issue, start shopping again.
Hi, im in a quite desperate need of help
I recently bought a LG UH780V television(didin't find it in forum search).
It has the following issue (or feature?) when the screen has a solid color like white or green and it pans from side to side in the middle of the screen appears a thin line that splits the screen in half. The left side appears to be more darker almost like violet, while the right side is neutral. I cant notice this problem while watching movies or images that has alot of different colors and darker images (unless for a sky pan etc).
So my question is if its a is a feature of LED tv(lg) or a faulty panel and need to change the tv. I've read that most led tv:s on the market have some sort of vertical banding issues and they depend on luck, and they are mostly noticabled at static color and panning.
This is how the image feels when panning on a solid white or green.
