Question

LG TV Won't Turn On

Mar 29, 2017 9:15AM PDT

Greetings, Have a 15 month old 40PFL4609/F8 LG TV. Was working fine. I had the TV turned on connected to my computer via HDMI and left the house. When I came back, the power had been out for two minutes during the time I was gone. Everything else in the house still works but the TV will not turn on, does not make any noise and no lights on it come on. I left it unplugged for a day. I held in the power button for 15 seconds and then plugged it back in. Nothing. I took the back off of it and nothing looks burnt, no smell, no bloated capacitors. I live in Aruba so there are no LG service centers here. Any ideas?

I read you are looking at caps. So what's next is you obtaining a service manual and working this like a TV technician. If you can't then off to the TV repair shops in your part of the world.
