Not here but

You read complaints all the time about trying to add devices to LG, Samsung and other maker's remotes. It varies from nothing works, to only basic functions like on/off works which upsets folk that wanted it all.

I might be best off buying a programable universal remote. What do you think?

Might be better

But then folk want to add the LG to the remote and complain again of a missing item. The best universal I've used is the Logitech Harmony line.

Thanks, I'll check the harmony line of remotes out.
