LG TV 55 in SMART - Dialogue Box Randomly pops up

I purchased this SMART tv last year. I have been extremely pleased with it's performance. However, two weeks ago the dialogue box for external devices started appearing randomly. It asks if I want to attach the external device now, and select "yes" or "no." Whatever I select, the box returns randomly. Any suggestions? Thanks.
