You need a service manual, basic electrical safety skills to get inside to measure voltages called out by the service manual. For now I see a lot of folk try to fix TVs without a service manual. They have to use searches like https://www.google.com/search?q=LG+TV+49lb5550+Flickering&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 and hope someone tells them another board and hope that fixes it.
Hello all. WanTed to see if anyone had any advice for me on this. I have had this LG 49LB5550 for a couple years with no problems. This past weekend while watching Netflix on my Xbox one, the screen started flickering in and out. This happens everywhere. On any input and even in the TV settings menus.
I took the back off and reseated all the cables. And did some research online which eventually lead me to ordering a new power board. The part number is EAY63072001. It was an exact match but after replacing it, the same problem occurs. I am attaching a couple pictures and a video of the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
