Question

LG TV 47LB5800

I have the above referenced television and I'm wanting to connect a set of Bluetooth Head Phones as my husband has a hearing issue.

Is it so simple that I'm overlooking the answer ??

The only thing we have attached to the TV is our HD cable box.

We were previously using wireless headphones (which broke) that attached to the cable box via a red & white RCA cable.

The guy at the store said if I had a smart TV the Bluetooth Headphones would work. That all I needed to do was pair it with the TV.

Apparently this TV is not Bluetooth enabled and I am lost.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank YOU for your time.

Jenn

Answer
Very few Smart TVs connect to BT Head Phones.

I usually have to add a BT Audio Transmitter. But some folk want to believe those sales folk. To them I have to write "Go back and have them set you up."

Re: R. Proffitt

Thank you R.Proffitt for taking the time to answer me.

I'll look for a BT Audio Transmitter and see what I can do with it.

I'm fairly self-sufficient, just need directional help sometimes.

Have a good week.
