Could mean the hotspot is on a channel that is not supported. Say for instance I'm in Asia and set my channel to 14. Computers and phones from North America may not show my hotspot.
Check what channel your spot is on.
I have a Galaxy S9 Plus and my hotspot seems to work perfectly fine. She has a LG Stylo 3 and has always been able to connect until recently. My Amazon Firestick connects perfectly fine but my hotspot won't even show up on her list of available connections. We've made sure both of our softwares are up-to-date and restarted both of our phones multiple times trying to solve this issue. Is there anything else we can do to make this work?! Thanks for your help!!
