It looks like a typical connection or panel failure. Watch this video about how to treat a wonky ribbon connection and hope that's it.

My LG smart tv has a gray wide ribbon along the screen. Also, the dark scenes have messed up colors. My 2.5YO daughter probably sprayed some water on it. Any idea what parts could be damaged?
