Question

LG Smart TV

I have an LG smart tv. For some reason, the search engine keeps coming on. Everything I press brings it up. I've pressed every button on the controller and nada. I've tried turning it off and on and unplugging it. Nothing is working. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you.

1. Factory reset and hope it clears up.

2. Call it in as a product bug. Ask for a free repair.

Not sure how to factory reset without the controller. EVERYTHING I press brings up the search engine.

3. Replace missing parts if need be.

I am running into folk that are missing remotes and complaining they can't control the set. Please folk, don't make me talk about that area. TVs today are not coming with all the buttons you need on the set.
