Look around for any CEC, HEC, ARC (see the pretty TLAs at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI ) and try turning them off.

Also, try other HDMI ports on the HDTV as some makes don't put CEC on some ports.

In short my bet is some HDMI control system is doing it's interference run.

Yes, there is some kind of interference..I'm going to try an IR Extender and see if that works..Tried all the different inputs, turned off the LED lights in the room, and any other electrical devices...Thanks for writing!!

Hi,

The issue may be compatability with software against each device. We recommend you contact Verizon to see if they have a solution to assist. ^CL

I contacted Verizon and received the IR extender and it still doesn't work..I have no idea what it could be...I can change the channels when it's in "Eco" mode, but if I put it in "Cinema" mode it stops working again??!!..I made a video of the problem..sorry for the video quality my camcorder sucks..

FIXED!!..with aluminum foil
Oct 8, 2013 11:01PM PDT

Thanks for the link R.Proffit...I was going through all the things these guys tried and the one that finally worked for me, was taking a piece of aluminum and bending it over the top of the unit and down in front of the censor..BOOM, now it works perfect!!..I can't believe nobody from Verizon could tell me to try one of these methods, but whatever...Thanks again!!
