Question

Lg optimus shuts down

Dec 6, 2012 3:08AM PST

Hi, I have an Lg optimus v, that shuts down normally but does not run out of battery, for instance the battery level will be at 70%, but it will shut down. Im think it is the battery since, it always shuts off at the same level. are there any other suggestion to what it might be.

Did you try a factory reset? I can't guess all the settings there are and have to reset them to sniff out if there is a soft or hard issue today.

Like MS Windows on a home computer, if you are running out of system memory, the phone might reset itself.

How would I check the system memory on my LG Optimus V

Check memory...

Keep in mind that I am using a different version of Android, but the method is very similar. Go to you phone "settings" application. From the next list, choose either "Memory or Storage". Not sure how it looks on your phone, but it should show how much memory is in the phone and how much is in use. Hope that helps.
