LG OLED55B6P

I recently purchased the LG oled55b6p. This is a small complaint but I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.

So from day one, I noticed that the "TV power sound" (the optional audible noise made when turning the tv on and off) hasn't really worked right. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the sound would cut in or out. But now, the sound doesn't work at all. I have turned the option on and off but no matter what, it won't work. I wonder if this has anything to do with the most recent software version? Anyone else having the same issue?
