LG Monitor 22mp68vq HDMI Connection Problem

When I connecting my pc with HDMI connection, monitor is showing no signal but if I connect VGA cable then monitor is getting picture via hdmi connection.
Tested:
Only VGA =Working
Only HDMI=Not Working(No Signal)
HDMI+VGA=HDMI Working+VGA Working(HDMI or VGA whatever I select as Input from monitor button)
So please help me,what is the problem with monitor.

The HDMI port is broken or incompatible (rare!) with this PC. Since there are no user serviceable parts on the monitor you get repair estimates.

But if HDMI port is broken then why it is working when I connect my VGA cable, and select monitor input source as HDMI

To me that sounds like a product defect that you have to select HDMI and connect VGA!

But since it works like that, you may want to use it and avoid a repair charge (if out of warranty.)
