LG LED TV display is blinking (Black screen)

My 35" LG LED television was bought in 2013. Today morning when i was watching TV, the screen started blinking rapidly, but sound and remote have worked accurately.The screen remains black till now and we are not able to watch television. we checked various times, but no output came. Please suggest me what i should do for it?

Unplug all sources.

Then unplug the power, watch 5 to 10 minutes and apply power. Do not apply sources. Do the menus of the TV work? If so, add a video source. If not, call it in to ask about any resets and get repair estimates.

Menu is working properly. I contacted with a TV mechanic. He predicts that IC has gone. What is your review.

Now that's a given as about half the failures I've seen are some IC. Today a lot of failures are the maker's web services so that's changing the mix of failures.

Here's the other shoe. Very few techs can identify which IC. They can narrow it down to a board. To guess which IC is too expensive.
