LG Led 42'' 3D (No Smart)

by Abel Bortolotti / August 17, 2015 8:27 AM PDT

I have a 42'' LG LED TV, the TV model is 42LA6130. Sometimes the tv is working fine and suddenly it freezes and the screen stays black (I can notice that it's turned on because it kind of shine), the remote control and the tv physical buttons doesn't respond, so I have to unplug the AC cable, and then some times it starts to work again and some times I have to unplug and plug many times until it works. When it doesn't work with the unplug-plug always the TV shows the LG logo as normal and then the black freeze appears.

This is my first time posting in this forum and sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

Googled that model

And found not much. The symptom sounds heat related so I've like to try the old canned air cleaning on the vents (no power on and how to is on the web.)

Next the room temp must be moderate. Let's say 20 to 26C.

Finally the unit must not be in an enclosed space.
