Since I can't find any HDCP support I think this is why it fails.

I have a LG LCD Projection TV Model RU-60SZ30 (about 10 yrs old). It does not have HDMI connector, however, does have a DVI Input connector. I have attached the HDMI cable from my Apple TV box via an "HDMI to DVI-D Adapter to the TV DVI input. I do get a reception, however, it is very faint and only barely distinguishable. What seems to be the problem?
If I connect the Apple TV box to another TV HDMI to HDMI connection, it works perfectly.
Thanks,
Fred D.
