Question

LG Home Theater Issue

May 27, 2017 1:49PM PDT

I have an LG Home Theater Blu-ray/DVD player Model BH4030s connected to a Panasonic Viera HD TV. Suddenly, when I insert a flash drive containing movies into the USB port of the player and I click on the "movies" icon on the TV the Blu-ray player switches from Home mode to Optical mode and puts a message on the TV stating "Enjoy audio from other device via Optical input". This has just happened in the last day or so. Previously, clicking on the "movies" icon on the TV would list the available movies without a problem. Now I can only watch the movies through the USB port on the TV itself, bypassing the speakers on the Home Theater. Any ideas? Thanks.
