At least it has the minimum 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (2.8GB user space) but that's too tight for this user. Start them shopping for something double that or more since they are a heavy user. I picked up a Bluboo Picasso with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal for 89 bucks. I show 10.99GB onboard free as I only have 2 apps installed and no SD card. That 2.8GB is going to go away fast and it's showing this is not the right phone for this owner.
The LG Escape 2 was At&t's latest replacement phone twice for my mother when her LG's hardware went AWOL. She's not electronic savy & brings me her phones to fix. I'm on round two in 4 weeks of errors bc of storage. I've put 64GB external SD card in it, saved everything allowable from phone to SD card, deleted as much as I can within my knowledge, disabled everything unnecessary that can't be moved to SD Card or deleted permanently. Still yet I'm barely putting a dent in freeing up internal storage space. Misc. Files are about 1/3 of taken up storage. There too, I've deleted (within my knowledge) everything I can & phone still function properly (if there is such a thing with the LG Escape 2 phone). What else can I do? It blocks saving photos, despite photos set up to be saved directly on SD card. It gives memory limits error messages constantly. It's lagging & freezing it once it gets close to its internal memory limits. Any suggestions would be great. Ty
