Hi,
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. LG is always happy to assist any technician who needs help fixing a problem with a LG product.
Once you have had your gas tech out, feel free to contact Sears back and have them call in to our Tech Line for advisement on the issue.
Also, we would be happy to step in and offer an Authorized Technician to assist with service; you would just simply call us at 1-800-243-0000 to have that setup.

Hi, I have an LG Gas Dryer DLGX3471V a little over a year old that I bought from Sears. I have their limited extended warranty. The problem is, when I start it, it makes a lot of noise which sounds like a big fire. The reflection of the flame is visible. After about a minute the dryer stops.
I called the Sears technician who said there was too much gas coming into the dryer. He tried slowly turning off the gas (throttling the gas he called it) and switching the dryer on but the problem kept happening until he turned off the gas too low and the dryer would not heat.
I called the gas company and the gas tech did a pressure check right at the pipe leading into the dryer and he said the pressure was fine. He checked the gas stove and water heater too and those are working fine.
I called Sears again and they said to call an "independent" person to come and check the gas pressure. I feel this is a ridiculous request as the gas company person already checked it, so why pay an independent person to come in?
Please let me know what could be the issue. Thanks in advance!
