LG G4 Life's not good - service is the worst

I bought my LG G4 smart phone July 2015 and it just died from a known issue (LG, G4 Boot Loop issue) this weekend. After many hours on the phone I understand I have to pay to fix their issue because I'm no longer in warranty. That's not right. A $500 well cared for smart phone should last longer that 1.5 years... Also it is a known hardware issue. Think twice before buying LG products. They claim life is good, but they don't back up that philosophy.
