LG Chocolate 3 - Too Loud

by tassidas / September 1, 2008 12:30 AM PDT

I just got the LG Chocolate 3, and the ringtones are unbelievably loud even when on the lowest setting. It scares me half to death every time it rings. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a way to fix it?

LG Chocolate Ringtone IS too loud
by bordenj88 / December 1, 2008 2:55 AM PST

Can anyone tell us how to get the "low" setting to be lower? The ringtone is ridiculously loud on low, but the only setting after low is vibrate! HELP!!! Verizon will let us exchange the phone for a $150 "restocking fee" - had we known about the volume in the first place, it would have been a deal breaker!

Does that phone allow you to add custom ringtones?

If so, you could try cooking up your own, or, using some simple audio editing software/freeware to tweak those particular ring tones. I have used Audacity in the past to create my own ring tones. I bet it would let you reduce the volume as well. Try howardforums.com and see what your fellow Chocolate users have done to remedy this. Here's a direct link to the LG forum-

Too loud
by anteekhawg / February 14, 2010 6:35 AM PST

I'll trade you as I have the same phone and cannot get mine loud enough. When on my belt and covered with a shirt or jacket can barely hear it if any other noise around. I've tried custom ringtones as well and none are loud enough. I hear other people in the noisy malls and phones in pocket or purse and you can still hear them some distance away. This is what I want.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
