lg 8000 vs 8100?

I have finally come donw to choosing the 8000 or 8100, I hear that the 8000 gives better reception, and you can record your own ringtones, but the 8100 is a newer model. But is newer better?

VX8000 vs. VX8100

The 8100 appears to be a better version. the extra features are 8x digital zoom (instead 4x) miniSD add-on memory and bluetooth. i would go for the 8100.

But damn verizon couldn't even sell me of find at least one lg 8000 becuase it's discontinued. I can't even buy the phone from lg's website...argghhhh
