After a recent Netflix update, it starts to play and then errors out on my latest Amazon Fire TV (gen 2.) After 4 hours on the phone with Netflix and Amazon the sad news is they don't have a fix and when I have time to re-test I will. If it fails, I will start the return process for my newer Amazon Fire TV.
I have LG 60UF850T Smart TV
Past few weeks noticed when you turn TV on and watch Live TV the sound dramatically drops after 40-50 seconds.
When your changed source or chose an app, the sound would return to normal levels.
Live TV will be normal until you turn the TV off & on again and the problem returns.
I tried all diagnostics to fix the issue. The TV only 6 months old and was fine right up until 6.7.16 (some apps were updated )
I raised an issue with LG Support. IN short the TV repair company for LG attended my home and checked my TV.
The main board was replaced and all returned to normal.
Last night I went about putting apps back on to the TV.
To cut a long story short it is when I install the 'Netflix App' onto the TV the sound issue returned. It seems to muck around with my sound.
I removed the 'Netflix App' and the sound is normal.
So after long testing I am 100% confident that the updated Netflix App' on 5.7.16 has caused conflict with the sound on my LG TV.
I suspect there is a bug in same.
Anyone else had this issue ?
